The District of Tomorrow nominated for ABN AMRO Parkstad CSR prize!

The winner of the CSR prize will receive a sustainable award created by artist Guus Voermans. The company may call itself the Best Corporate Social Responsible Company in the Parkstad region. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) involves successfully combining people, planet and profit. Entrepreneurs who adjust their management to society and the environment will be frontrunners in the next few years. Frontrunners are not only the drivers of the economy in the Netherlands, they also influence a sustainable society.
COS Limburg wants to boost CSR within the Parkstad region, which is why COS Limburg, MKB Parkstad and Parkstad Limburg decided to found the CSR prize. It rewards the most progressive entrepreneur for the leading role he or she plays and also features other progressive entrepreneurs.
Anyone can vote online up until 20 December 2011. The three companies that get the most votes will become finalists. In the end, a selection board will choose the winner on the basis of the application form and a company visit.
The competition winner will be announced on 26 January 2012 in the Continium in Kerkrade.
